ErikAndersen started a BuildRoot system for the Tux. This takes the work RussDill did and wraps it into a system that you can rebuild and hack on. To get it, download the buildroot-tux module from CVS. You will need to get and install a ToolChain first.

Use the anonymous setup if you are not an official project member and the ssh access if you are. do a "co buildroot-tux" which will create a buildroot-tux directory under your current directory. Change into that directory and type make.

The buildroot-tux module is small, but it starts by using wget to download the sources and then build each one. It will download close to 30 Meg of sources. It will need over 200 Meg of disk space before it is through. It currently includes:
